The Art of Soil Building, HVGA Winter Lecture Series
Creating a Sustainable Nutrient Base for a Garden of Abundance. Workshop will cover a variety of very successful soil building tactics from the traditional compost pile, to manure and herbal teas, biodynamic preparations, using dynamic plants and herbs, and encouraging mycorrhizal colonization. We'll focus on establishing diversity within the soil-food-web and on providing your garden plants with super-soil! Students will go home with a dose of our own homemade Biodynamic 500 preparation.

With Barbara Taylor-Laino, Midsummer Farm.
